If your foot pedal seems to be more active than you are, sliding and skidding along the floor, keep it in place with this non-slip skid holder. It measures 11-1/4" x 17-3/4" and is made using a flexible, translucent vinyl. Please note that the Non-Slip, Foot Control Pad does not come with a foot control.
To ensure that the Pedal-Stay doesn't move, use the included velcro patches on the back of your foot control. This mat works with all sewing machine and serger foot pedals.
One the back of the mat are raised, bumps that "grip" your carpet. These grips help to prevent your Pedal-Stay from sliding around.
If your sewing area has laminate or hardwood floors, the Pedal-Stay might shift, so included with the mat is a 4" rubber sponge that prevents it from slipping on smooth surfaces.

It's okay. Slips a bit on the rug, even with the extra traction added to the bottom.
This is something every quilter/sewer needs. My foot feed was always getting away from me, but no more! It has saved me so much time chasing after mine every time I sit down to sew.
I’m using this with my Viking sewing machine foot pedal and it works very well to keep it from slipping from under my foot. I like it a lot!

This Non-Slip Foot Control pad seems to be working great. The treadle stays where it belongs. Finally
I use my pedal and hardwood floors. Even with the rubber gripper on the bottom the Pedal-Stay tended to move quite a bit. I think it probably does better on carpet. Maybe I need to put a small mat under the Pedal-Stay but that seems to defeat the purpose. I think I might just MacGyver something myself.

This worked wonderfully. Have not had to reset since installment
The pokey points on the bottom are not long enough to grab the carpet so it slides. The Velcro on the pedal does hold the pedal in place, but I still have to keep sliding the whole pad toward me. Also the Velcro glue came off so I had to use another kind of glue to hold it in place.

The non slip product did not work as advertised. Also, I have spent a lot of money over the years at Sewing Parts.com. This is the first item that I have returned. I was surprised the company would not pay for the return shipping fee. The return cost was half of the amount of the item. I am disappointed at poor customer service. RMA # 3165326-R1
Nice quality. My foot pedal stays on the mat well. This item was much larger than expected. I use it on a laminated floor surface. It does stay put while using it. However it can still move when there is no pressure applied downward on it. And because of its size, my office chair doesn’t like to slide all the way under the table now, which is cumbersome as it’s in a traffic area. Overall very pleased, but as with most things today not the perfect solution.

Best use would be on a carpeted flooring cs of the grippers. In my laminate flooring I used velcro to stabilize it.
it slides all over the place it doesn't matter if on bare floor or carpet. i am not going to us velcro on my floors.

Don't want to adhere it to the tile floor cuz I move my sewing table around. Because of that, I have to watch my foot placement and avoid collision of my chair and the extended heel placement pallet. It does hold the foot pedal more steady than having it on a piece of rubber webbing.
No more chasing the foot pedal. It works very well in stabilizing the pedal.
Bought this item because my foot pedal slides on my carpet. I’m not impressed, now the whole thing slides on the carpet. Was unfortunately a waste of money.
Works quite well on my carpeted floor to hold my foot pedal as I sew putting my foot on and when I have to stop a minute it doesn’t move as my foot releases pressure then starts pushing again
I know longer have to stop sewing to look for my foot pedal. The pedal stays put with the foot control pad.

first off, thanks for sending me the pedal devices so quickly. I have long had the experience of madly trying to find my pedals which loved to skate around as I used either my sewing machine or my serger.
