Pellon's Shape Flex Woven Cotton Interfacing in black is an all-purpose fusible interfacing that provides support to collars, cuffs, pockets, and other areas. Shape Flex Interfacing can also be used to add body and permanent stability when used as backing for needlework and punch embroidery. This interfacing is intended for use with light to medium fabrics such as knits, oxford cloth, chambray, gingham, poly-cotton blends, and more.
Before using you may want pre-shrink the interfacing by soaking it in warm water for about ten minutes. When finished gently squeeze out excess water and allow to air dry. Do not put in the washer or dry when pre-shrinking as it may lose its adhesive. Pellon's Shape Flex Woven Cotton Interfacing is made using 100% cotton and measures 20" wide is sold by the yard.

It’s great stuff but hard to find.
Can't tell you how disappointed I am with your customer service. After placing the order for this item and an additional item the charge was immediately posted to my credit card. After not receiving the item after 2 weeks, I contacted customer service where I was told that it was in shipping. I checked the order status a week later and saw that it was still unfulfilled. I then contacted customer service again & asked that the order be cancelled & my credit card credited. I was told "sorry" with a note that the order was cancelled. Shortly after that, I was surprised to receive an email saying that my order was shipped! Again, the order was supposed to have been cancelled & customer service did not honor my request. Please be more transparent with your customers' request for order status. It's a good thing I was proactive in ordering & had enough to complete a current project. As much as I would like to do business with you, I'm hesitant in placing another order for fear the outcome will be the same.
This product does exactly what it was designed to do - provide crisp support to neckline facings, cuffs, plackets, and other areas of a garment during construction to produce a very professional-looking garment. I use it in both colors depending on the color of the fashion fabric I'm using and it works well with light- and mid-weight fabrics. So glad I stumbled across this product after years of using the more common unwoven, more transparent fusible versions of interfacing. Very happy with my results!
