The plug will not go all the way in to my machine to make the machine work. I have to push the plug to make it have contact, which makes sewing a little bit hard. I have a Pfaff 1473, in which it supposed to fit but the shaft on the plug seems to be a little to short, but by forcing it with my hand it will make contact and work. Just a little bit disappointing. 🤔

Two weeks ago on a Saturday night I got out the Pfaff creative 1425 CD I inherited from my mother so I could get to work on a sewing project. The machine is a workhorse and I love it but when I plugged in the foot control pedal, there was nothing. I restarted setting up and still no response when I pressed on the foot control. I had purchased things from Sewing Parts Online with positive results so got into their website, looked up the part, bit the bullet, and paid for 2-day delivery. Sure enough, the foot control arrived Tuesday afternoon and I was happily sewing by the evening. This was the fastest and easiest way to solve this problem, and I am very happy to have my sewing machine working again.

I was a little concerned about paying so much for a foot pedal, but this is a direct replacement for my old foot which had started getting finicky. I think the electrical cord inside the plug had broken. The only negative comment is that the retractable cord doesn’t stay retracted where it is supposed to so I have to have all of it spooled out to work.

I had no luck buying cheaper and apparently knock off versions from Amazon. I decided to buckle down and buy one from an actual sewing related store and to my delighted surprise my machine finally worked correctly. I was so worried that there was an issue with my Elna lock pro 5 serger, but I happened to read that pedals can cause malfunctioning if they are not oem This is the truth! I called and ask about this foot pedal to make sure it would work for my machine. When it didn't I could return it but was charged for the free shipping and had to pay an additional $16 to ship it back. All total it costs me over $22 to return the product that didn't work for my machine. I will not order from them again for I can find other places that have FREE RETURNS if the item doesn't work for you.
