Position Bracket, Singer #163320

I needed this piece for my 1966 Singer Golden Touch and Sew, Deluxe Zig-Zag. It fits, but not perfectly. The long arm is not as long as the original piece that broke. However, I am able to hold it in place while filling the bobbin and once the plate is slid shut, it will stay there. I have not been able to find anything better.

This bracket is for my 50 year old Singer sewing machine. Unfortunately, it is a little wider than the original. Tried to install but would not fit. Ended up bending it so I ordered another. Will take the machine to a repair shop in the hopes they can get it to work.

This was 1/16 longer than the part I needed. It wouldn't fit properly into my machine. Thankfully, I could piece it together with my original and make it work.

This seems just a hair too long. It leaves me with no room to adjust the position, but it has just enough clearance from the bobbin case and works fine.
