I have been looking for a pattern with a rectangle repeated throughout the quilt. I plan to use piece 1 of this pattern to have wedding guests write a message to the bride and groom on fabric that has been ironed onto freezer paper (for stability). the fabric will have the seam lines drawn on with quilt marking pens or pencils (so they can keep their message from getting cut off. My local quit shop will be having a class on foundation piecing for beginners. I have watched online videos of paper piecing, but I need a hands on class. I know that this quilt will be a treasured keepsake.
