Designed with today’s popular 10" precuts in mind, this versatile quilting ruler is ideal for sub-cutting precut squares, cutting your own 10" squares from fat quarters or yardage, and accurately trimming half-square triangle blocks made from 10" squares.
Made in the USA from high-quality acrylic, the ruler features precise black-and-white markings arranged in 1" grids with 1/8" and 1/4" increments. Creative Grids’ exclusive non-slip grip allows the ruler to slide smoothly across your fabric while you position it, then holds it securely in place with light pressure for cleaner, more accurate cuts. Use the black numbers on white dots and the 1/4" grip sides to cut whole-inch measurements, or use the exclusive Turn-a-Round feature—with white numbers on black dots and 1/2" grip sides—to cut half-inch increments.
Dashed 1/4" lines along two adjoining sides make it easier to trim seam allowances, while the 45-degree diagonal line helps square up half-square triangles. White horizontal and vertical center lines are also included for centering and trimming four-patch, embroidered, and appliquéd blocks.
