The Creative Grids® 6-1/2" x 12-1/2" Rectangle Ruler is a versatile choice for sub-cutting strips, squaring blocks, and handling everyday quilting and sewing tasks. It is available in the original layout and a left-handed version, which mirrors the original so left-handed quilters can read the numbers and markings right side up while cutting. Made in the USA from high-quality acrylic, this ruler features precise measurements and Creative Grids’ exclusive non-slip grip. It slides easily across fabric for positioning, then holds securely in place with gentle pressure for more accurate, slip-free cuts.
Easy-to-read black and white markings include 1" grids divided into 1/8" and 1/4" increments. Black numbers on white dots and the 1/4" grip sides make it easy to cut whole-inch measurements, while the exclusive Turn-a-Round feature uses white numbers on black dots and the 1/2" grip sides for half-inch measurements. Dashed 1/4" lines along two adjoining sides help with trimming seam allowances, and the black and white 45-degree lines are useful for trimming half-square triangles, flying geese, and squares set on point or marking cross-hatch quilting designs. A 30/60-degree angled line supports diamond cutting and diamond cross-hatch marking, while white horizontal and vertical center lines simplify fussy-cutting stripes and borders.
