Schmetz Chrome, Professional Grade needles, are designed for sewists, quilters, and embroidery enthusiasts who are sewing faster and more intensely than ever! These chrome-plated needles are beneficial in resisting heat and wear by staying cooler longer, avoiding stitch distortion, and ultimately producing less friction and resistance. Schmetz 130/705 H-S CF Chrome Stretch Needles have a medium ballpoint and a specially designed eye and scarf to help reduce skipped stitches. These features make this needle perfect for knits and elastic or stretch fabrics. These needles can be used in household sewing machine brands where needles with a flat shank are required.
Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. The Schmetz Chrome Stretch Needles have a yellow top band. Schmetz 130/705 H-S CF CF Chrome Stretch Needles is a pack of five needles in a plastic case that slides shut for safe storage. The needle system, needle type, and needle size are printed on the front of the case.
