Schmetz Chrome Finish ELx705CF Overlock Serger Needles is an ELX705 needle with a regular point and chrome finish. This needle is designed to use in electronic multi-purpose sergers that do overlock, cover, safety, and mock safety stitches. This needle has a long groove on both the front and back and a slightly larger scarf with a light ballpoint. The chrome finish (CF) reduces heat and wear and aids in gliding through the fabric. Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. Most Schmetz overlock/serger needles will have a black color code on the top band. The bottom color bands on these needles will differ per size.
