Schmetz Knit and Stretch Needles are an assorted pack of Jersey and Stretch needles. Schmetz 130/705 H SUK Jersey/Ballpoint Needles are made specifically for sewing on knits. The medium ballpoint makes it excellent for knit fabrics and even some stretch fabric. These needles have a unique point that does not damage or break knitted fabrics. Schmetz 130/705 H-S Stretch Needles have a medium ballpoint and a specially designed eye and scarf to help reduce skipped stitches. These features make this needle perfect for knits and elastic or stretch fabrics. These needles can be used in household sewing machine brands where needles with a flat shank are required.
Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. The Schmetz Jersey/Ballpoint Needles have an orange-brown top band. The Schmetz Stretch Needles have a yellow top band.
