I purchased this foot pedal as a replacement for the original that came with my 70s Kenmore machine. It's working fine and I've been using it almost daily since I received it.
My Kenmore sewing machine is almost 50 years old and needed a new foot pedal. This pedal works perfect, If I could make one suggestion, it would be better if the bottom of the pedal had some kind of non-slip bottom.
My Mom left me her sewing machine without a plug! I�d made my wedding dress on it and we just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary! Much to my happiness, Sewing Parts had the exact plug! And my joy was when I plugged in the ancient machine and she purred to life! Thank you Sewing Parts!
Foot peal works wonderful!. Inherited my mom's sewing machine and the foot petal had a short in it then it just quit working. Didn't think I would be able to find another. Thank the Lord I did. I am so thankful that I can continue to use my mom's machine to sew

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for what you do. I truly appreciate that you carry these parts. I got my sewing machine in 1979, when I was 19 years old. I paid $179.00 for it from Sears and used my very first income tax refund to pay for it. I made my best friend's wedding dress on it, and clothes for my kids who are now in their mid-forties. At 66 years old now, I'm too old to have to get used to a new sewing machine! I borrowed my daughter's plastic machine that slid all over the place while I was trying to sew. Mine is the first decorative stitch Kenmore machine Sears sold, and has 3 decorative stitches. It's metal and still runs like a tank. If only the power cords held up as well!

I'm very appreciative that you had the cord and foot pedal for this very old machine that I bought at a sidewalk sale in the hopes that it would work. The cord plugged in and the light came on but unfortunately the machine did not work. The motor ran but smelled like rubber burning and nothing moved.
