My chair had gotten to the point where it no longer rolled easily. Strings of thread and pieces of fabric had gotten wrapped around the caster and I could only remove small bits of it. The new caster make the chair roll like new.

Before ordering, I had read the customer reviews and saw several that said the casters didn't fit tightly enough on the shaft. When I removed the old casters, I saw each had had a rubber O-ring that fitted into a groove close to the end of the shaft. No rings were sent with the new casters or mentioned on the product page. I carefully measured the size needed and bought a package at Home Depot: Danco - #36 O-ring, 5/16" O.D. x 3/16" I.D. Without the O-ring, the caster did not fit tightly at all. With the O-ring, the fit was perfect. My chair is back in business.

The hole in the castor is too large for the peg in the chair. We had to wrap tape around the peg to act as a filler but now the castor doesn't swivel.
