Product Description
If you want to turn your sewing machine into a serger, this attachment will allow you to cut the seam edge and stitch in one step. Use Straight Stitch, Blind Hem, or Stretch Hemming Stitch (sewing left primary to right cut of seam). You must feed the fabric up and over the cutting edge part, and guide the sewing part of the fabric under the foot. Much like using an rolled hem, or binding foot. This side cutter is ideal for use with midweight fabrics. For thin fabrics, a stabilizer is required.

If you want to turn your sewing machine into a serger, this attachment will allow you to cut the seam edge and stitch in one step. Use Straight Stitch, Blind Hem, or Stretch Hemming Stitch (sewing left primary to right cut of seam). You must feed the fabric up and over the cutting edge part, and guide the sewing part of the fabric under the foot. Much like using an rolled hem, or binding foot. This side cutter is ideal for use with midweight fabrics. For thin fabrics, a stabilizer is required.

Works perfect. I Love it. I had a project that didnt have much fabric to cut at the edges, so I removed the blade and still does the overlook look. You dont have to remove it, but I felt safe without it.
Part worked with my singer sew machine and I was very pleased. Thank you.
The device itself is useless, very difficult to feed the fabric through.
I like that i don't have multiple threads to change.
I tried this out but it did not meet my expectations, I thought the knife would be a lot sharper than what it was, it was a little dull not sharp at all so I returned mine.
Fits perfectly on my 42 year old Janome MC6000! Other (cheaper) ‘aftermarket’ walking feet I have tried are not as well made and do not ‘walk’ as well as the Singer brand. Very please with my purchase and worth the extra cost.
I was amazed at the quality, price, and quick turnaround in receiving the item ordered. The instructions made attaching and using the device on my Singer Zig-Zag sewing machine simple. If I need another add-on device to update the features on my Zig-Zag machine, I'll consider another purchase. Thank you!

I enjoy the side cutter foot, takes a few times of getting used to it and I'm still working on getting tension settings correct. Practice makes better sewing.

I realized what I really need is a server. A little tricky to use and not sure I have found its purpose yet. It seems to work, I just need a server for big jobs
Unfortunately this will not work with my Kenmore sewing machine. Very disappointed.

The unit was suggested to fit a Futura XL400 but during installation, I found that the needle drop down lever was obstructed by the Cutter Foot plastic shell. I had to remove the shell in order for the Needle arm to drop down freely. When using the cutter, the blade was cutting but also pulling the fabric causing the material to shift inwards causing the sewing needle to miss the fabric on the diagonal stitich. Already contacted Sewing Parts Online & waiting for a response.

This foot is awesome. I had purchased a side cutter from a Chinese seller and it would not sew right. I played with this one and am quite satisfied.

After discussions with both SewingPartsOnline and Babylock, I decided to return the part.
Doesn't work on my Kenmore model 12714, even though it should according to the list of compatible machines.
Did not care for this item. Too big and bulky. Followed the directions to the tee but still could not get it to work properly. I returned the item for a refund. However, even tho I did not care for this Singer item, I will continue to order from parts online they�re delivery time is unbeatable!
