The advertised photo clearly appears to be the genuine version of this casing. But what I received was a generic part that does not work with my Singer 4432 even though it indicates the part is guaranteed to fit, it causes tension problems. I do not have tension problems with the original part. And ordered thus as a back-up. I tried to return the generic part and have not received any feedback on this item. However other items that were damaged upon receipt have been addressed. Normally I would not bother with a return. However this is the third time I have ordered what I thought were genuine parts only to receive a “generic” item that does not function well with my machines. I have been sewing for 50 years and sew with various brands Viking, Brother, Singer and Kenmore. I say three times and you are out! I will not order from this company again. Please use caution if ordering parts.
I’ve found out my machine is not a super common machine brand. So when I needed this piece I was a bit nervous that it wouldn’t fit since it seems like it’s a Singer piece, even though the website stated it would fit my model. However the website is true and it did indeed fit like a glove and now my machine runs smoothly again.
The part looks good and arrived in a timely manner but I am disturbed at the need to do a review, and will factor that into the price the next time I need a part.

These people lost my order, after taking my money and did nothing to make it right other than say sorry and send it regular mail. And I shouldn't have had to replace this part on a 2 year old machine. Buh-bye Singer
Had to replace the bobbin case in my Singer Heavy Duty 4500 machine and this item fit perfect. Just wish the whole case was metal so it wouldn�t wear out so fast.
