The new pedal works perfectly. So happy with it!
Found this great 1941 sewing machine at a thrift store for $45.00. The catch was that there was not a power cord and foot control. I found the exact power cord/foot control that fit the old machine! For $11.00 and some change I ordered it. I got it a few days later. It fit and she sews like a dream and purrs like a kitten!

It arrived very quickly. It is taking me a while to get used to the different foot pedal. This one pushes down at the end while my old one the power was on the side requiring less use of my foot to push it down. So far my sewing machines is not functioning the same but do not think it is the different power foot. I am struggling to be able to provide just the right amount of pressure.
