I needed a new cord for my Singer 15-91 and I was concerned that this cord would not fit the 3 pin connector that older Singers have. It fit perfectly! Thank you so much for offering this item! Now I can add the upgraded control pedal and get my machine working again.
There was no guesswork required with this plug for my 15-91 vintage Singer machine! When I got the machine, the two footpedal wires had been removed from some combination of the three posts on the sewing machine, but I didn�t know over which two of the three posts they belonged. The old cord looked thin and worn, but this new one has plenty of thick insulation, and the footpedal wiring is built into one plug. I could easily get into the pedal and rewire with the new, longer cord, and now I have a safe power cord/footpedal set-up. And the customer service is great! I researched and was fairly confident that this was the correct cord for my vintage Singer, but called before I ordered-just to make certain. After listening to my story, the representative assured me that this cord was exactly what I needed. She was very knowledgeable!

Good quality wires, and nice that the size of the plug into the 221 Featherweight is slightly reduced from the previous version which makes the fit to be perfect; requires no grinding to make it fit better.

The cord on my mother’s very old sewing machine was damaged and I needed a new one. This was the correct cord as far as anyone could determine but it didn’t fit. My husband more or less fixed the old cord and we don’t leave it plugged in and watch it carefully.

Perfect part for an 80 year old sewing machine
My mother (age 91) has a Singer machine from the 1950s. She doesn't trust any other machine but the cord cracked (after all, it was 70 years old). The pedal was fine but she needed the cord that plugged into the machine (3 holes to the 3 prongs on the machine) and to the pedal and then to the wall. This fit, was easy to replace (open the pedal and unscrew old cord and screw in new -- if you've replaced a hardwire phone jack, it's the same thing). She's happy so I'm happy! (And way cheaper than buying an old cord on ebay and worrying if it would work).

Looks like it will work although the plug- in is very tight going into my Singer featherweight. I haven�t attached other cord to my foot pedal yet.

Cord arrived quickly and packaged well. I have not installed it yet but the connections look correct for my machine.
Have 1960's era Singer machine whose cord was becoming cracked, and a bit dangerous. Purchased this cord and switched the foot pedal from the old cord to this cord and all seems well. If it lasts another fifty years, it will most likely outlast me.

This is the right cord based on model, but per your warning, it is not a perfect fit at the machine end. (Others, take note!) I need to photograph the cord and send that to you to get the correct cord as you suggested. Ordering was easy though and the cord came very quickly. I am very impressed with your service and even more so that you are there serving sewing machines that are in the "elderly" category.
