Needle Threader, Singer #68003556

The needle threader doesn't go through the needle. It catches the thread to the right of the needle. I looked at it through magnification and the part with the hook is off to the side so it can't go through the needle.

I purchased 2 of the items and neither work. Neither have the properly made middle hook that slides within the eye of the needle to “auto thread “ I emailed about the defective items but have still heard any response.
