I use these spool holders regularly for helping to hold and stabilize larger thread cones on my standard spool thread holders. They can be placed anywhere on the holder to fit inside the spool base which gives you flexibility on the sized thread cone you can use. I love them!

I have owned my serger for 30+ years and have adjusted to its aging � issues�. The spinning spools, though, we�re making me crazy�and I have NO idea where half of the spool holders went. Thankfully, I found this site and low and behold� spool holders!! I replaced all of mine and the difference in performance is noticeable�consistent stitching� no spool shimmies. Thirty years of activity will wear anything out�sergers are no exception. Sometimes it is the little things that can make a huge difference!
