This does not fit my Singer 127; it's too short. I believe the part number is incorrect in the database and really belongs to a different machine. the 128 perhaps?

The plate was 0.3 mm too wide to slide into the slot of the sewing machine. A couple of minutes with a file corrected the fit. I verified that the sewing machine was correct using a plate from another model 127. Also the plate is 5 mm short, however that affects the appearance only and not the functionality.

Yeah, we're going to attempt to file down the edges of this to get it to slide in easily, it's catching halfway and no amount of jiggling will get this to fit without extra work.

Doesn't fit. Plate only slides on half way. Otherwise the plate would have done the trick.
Fit an finish could be better. The plate is a bit thinker than an original part, so it's not flush with the bed of the sewing machine, but it beats having nothing but a gaping hole.

This plate did not fit my machine. My machine is from 1903, I guess they were different sizes through the years.

The plate was very difficult to install. I had to use a small hammer to tap it into place.
The vintage machine I purchased was missing this plate.
