My old Kenmore I bought in the summer of 1970 is still going strong. I needed an extra plate for special projects that have markings I need. So now, when I doing the projects, I just install this plate and no more guessing.
I was so thrilled to be able to find this part because the clamp that holds it in place had broken on mine and I was having ti tape it in place. The parts arrived quickly and was perfect!
This will replace a slightly rusty part on my Kenmore.

This Kenmore sewing Machine is like 50 years old...was so afraid I wouldn't be able to find the part that broke. But I was hooked up.. fit perfect and still running like new.

The slide plate for my old Kenmore machine looks the same as the original but doesn't quite fit. The tabs on the underside of the plate are slightly off from fitting properly so needs to be forced into slide opening. What I really only needed was a replacement screw for the tiny ones which hold the top of plate to the underside.
I wanted to use my mom�s sewing machine, but the slide plate got lost in one of several moves. I was afraid I wouldn�t be able to find a replacement, but you folks had the right part. Thank you! I have made a skirt on it already.
