I love my Bernina 1230 and was very dismayed when I bent one of my sewing spool holders. I thought I probably could not get it fixed until I started looking online and came across SewingPartsOnline.com. They carry so many makes and models of machine parts. I was overjoyed and there site was easy to navigate and easy to order from. I received by part fast and it was exactly what I needed. The hardest part was getting the star locking washers off. But I got them off and was able to reuse them. It seems to be working great!
I ordered this part for a Bernina 1008 and your listing stated if was a part for a Bernina 1008. I was really looking forward to receiving the correct spindle for my machine. Instead I got a part whereas the rod to insert in placement is twice the size it needs to be to fit....so this is not a spindle that fits a Bernina 1008 and I have no use for it! get your parts matched up right with the machines they are meant for . I paid almost $30.00 for a part that is not of use for me. Not a contented customer
