This is exactly what I needed. My spool pin was flopping all over the top of the machine; the old spring had worn out. Installation was quick. Brother Manufacturer refused to work with me and going to a service location 80 miles away was out of the question for me, as was mailing the machine both ways plus being charged for service out of warranty. My previous spring last me 6 years+. Thanks you guys! :)
