The tensioner was shipped fast and packed well. The timing peg was bent however (0n left in picture). I straightened it and it works fine. This is the first part we have ever gotten that was not perfect and it was easily corrected.

Was not an perfect fit needed some modifications to fit my singer 6136
All the parts I purchased from Sewing Parts on line help me to restore a old singer that I then used to make curtains for a Van. This old Singer had the power to complete the job with no problems. The brother I had could not do the job. I would recommend Sewing parts online for all your replacement needs.
This part was shipped as soon as possible and was easy to replace with sewing machine screwdrivers. Tension works great now.

It took me a bit to figure how to install this since it is slightly different than the one originally on my daughter's machine

The part itself didn't fit into my machine, but I only needed the plastic bushing on the metal post, so I removed this piece and re-fit it to my existing and I'm back in business!

Delivery was timely. Part didn't work as expected (pin that goes into machine wasn't same length as old part). I figured something out, but it would've been easier to take it to a sewing machine repair shop.

It's just okay, the gear is cheaper plastic than the original and the wire that holds back the thread is a lot bigger and gets in the way

It would have been nice to have received some directions on how to set the tension correctly when I received the part. It isn't exactly like the one I am replacing even though the picture of it looks the same. There are differences. I am not very happy with the part I ordered. I thought I was getting a Singer replacement and this one looks like something different.
