Third Hand Binding Folder Clip Details
Product Description
What if you had a third hand to help you out all the time? It might look strange to others, but that third hand would come in...handy! Get it? Life would be so much easier with some extra help.
Unfortunately, this isn't the reality (for most of us). Quilters, however, are smart, and make tools to help get things accomplished quicker and with less pain. One of those tools is the Third Hand Binding Folder Clip made by Purple Hobbies.
This tool is a well-made, 3D printed bias folder with an adjustable clamp that attaches to your ironing board/table, so you don't have to hold down your fabric as you press it. You would gently fold your fabric in half and feed it through the U-shaped hole. The clip would then keep your fabric in that shape as you pull it out and under your iron. This means less frustration, a more even press, and no burnt fingers!
You'd want to use 2 1/2" inch wide fabric. Folded in half and pressed, this would make single fold bias tape that you would sew to your quilt and then fold over and sew it again to make a 1/4" edge!
Available in various colors and multiple sizes, the Third Hand Binding Folder Clip is 3D printed using biodegradable plastic, so it's not only legitimately helpful, but it's also environmentally friendly!
