The thread cutter works very well. Its very handy to use on one of my older sewing machines that didn't have a built in thread cutter.
Wont stick to machine

The sticky pad didn't stick well over time. I put a dab of E6000 on it and it works great now
I have wanted a thread cutter to mount on my machine for years. This one works great and is making sewing so much easier.

This little cutter is an ingenious and inexpensive little �upgrade� for a machine that doesn�t have one built in. My complaint is that the two sided tape that comes on it is just not sticky enough to sustain the pressure from cutting thread over and over, it WILL fall off. What comes on the cutter is similar to the two sided tape I�ve used in the past to scrapbook, a very thin sticky film that is perfect for light work. It is not up to this task. The problem was remedied with a bit of �heavy duty� two sized tape that I happened to have on hand. I didn�t mind the minute it took to fix it, however, if you had to go out and buy a roll, it costs almost as much as the cutter. I love the cutter but it could be made better by the manufacturer SO EASILY.

The cutter is sharp, but the adhesive is weak. I used some glue to attach it, which made it stick on fine.
Been looking for this a while not tried it yet but will very soon to put a quilt top together.

The adhesive is not nearly strong enough. Every time I tried to cut thread its come right out off my machine.

As expected.
Came with a single layer of double stick tape as an adhesive. Would hardly stick, then fell off the first time I used it. I superglue it on and it seems to work just fine now.
