I ordered this to replace the original one that had broken. It fits, and appeared to be the same part, but I wasn't able to get the screw all the way into the set up. For the price, I would have anticipated it would have the necessary equipment to install it. It does work, but I'm not thrilled with its stability.

I felt that this was WAY OVERPRICED considering it is just a foot long piece of plastic with four holes in it. But the one on my serger was broken and it had to be replaced. I had no problem with the service and shipping, that is always good from this company.

The replacement thread guide bar is perfect! It was, however, very challenging to remove the small �- very small �- screw in order to install the new bar. There were no instructions and I dropped the rod down into base and it was difficult to get it back up in order to screw the new bar into place.
