Iconic & Timeless

In Geneva, Switzerland, the original Lotus model was designed and manufactured at the former Elna factory. First launched in 1968, the Lotus is Elna's iconic model. It was the first-ever compact sewing machine with an extraordinary design. The original Elna Lotus model is in collection at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

Use the Direct Pattern Selection Keys to enter a 2-digit number that corresponds to stitch patterns built into the machine. The creative possibilities are infinite with 100 built-in stitches of combined utility and decorative patterns, including seven buttonholes!

Accessory Storage

The Lotus 2 comes with accessory storage on top and an accessory drawer on the bottom, giving a home to all your main essentials. Open the top cover to access storage for needles, presser feet, buttonhole foot, instruction chart, etc. Slide open the pull tab on the bottom flap to reveal an accessory drawer for easy access items like bobbins, lint brush, spool holder, a screwdriver, and seam ripper.
