22 Built-in Stitches

Built-in Needle Threader

Presser Foot Lift

On Janome's 2222, you can raise the presser foot about 1/4" (0.6 cm) higher than the normal up position. This extra lift allows for easy removal of the presser foot and makes it easier to sew thick or heavy fabrics like denim.

Manual Stitch Tension, Width, And Length

Along the front of the machine are three dials that enable you to control your tension, stitch width, and stitch length. These dials are easily adjusted to create perfectly balanced stitches based on your fabric type and weight.

Free Arm

Janome's 2222 has a front-loading bobbin that is easy to replace. To swap out the bobbin, remove the extension table, open the hook cover, pop out the bobbin case, insert the new bobbin, pull the thread through the slot of the case, place it back in your 2222, and you are ready to start sewing.
