2-/3- Thread Conversion

ADJUSTABLE LED Lights
The workspace is brightly illuminated with LED lights mounted at two locations. The long-life and energy-efficient LED lights will not heat up when used for a long period. In addition to brightness, you can adjust the light bulb's color temperature between daylight (white) and soft white (yellow-toned). This feature helps eliminate visibility difficulties with certain fabric and thread color combinations.
Knee Lifter
Take control of your fabric with the help of the included knee lifter on the MO-3000QVP. This hands-free option allows you to move the presser foot up or down without using your hands. This attachment is easy to install and comes in handy when pivoting fabric. The presser foot can be lifted to 6mm at the maximum to ensure easy placement and material removal (the maximum height of the presser foot with hand lifter is 8mm).
Curve Foot
On the Akane, the distance between the knife and the needle is 9.95 mm, which is the industry's smallest level of knife-to-needle distance. With the included curve foot, you can easily serge curved pieces of material smoothly and produce beautifully finished seams.
Magnetic Needle Tray
Keep track of your needle when changing from two-needle sewing to one-needle sewing or when swapping out old needles for new ones. Juki's Mo-3000 has a magnetic needle tray. This handy little tray can also hold pins as you remove them from your fabric while you serge.
Micro Lifter (Float Function)

Chain-Off Thread Cutter
Scissors are a thing of the past with the Akane. This machine has a built-in chain-off thread cutter. In addition to the manual cutting of chain-off thread with the handy cut button or the foot switch, automatic cutting is also possible by setting the chain-off thread length. The automatic chain-off thread-cutting length can be set from approximately 1 cm to 10 cm.

The Akane sews various stitch types, like overcasting and rolled hemming, by turning the stitch changeover knob to the type you want to sew. With the automatic thread supply that enables a one-touch setting of thread tensions of four threads (upper and lower looper threads, right-needle thread, and left-needle thread), the efficiency of sewing will be greatly increased. Keep in mind the Akane automatically controls the thread tension, but sometimes the stitch formation can be improved by turning the looper thread tension fine adjustment knob clockwise or counterclockwise according to the type of material or thread and the differential feed adjustment amount.
Easy Operation Keys
Easily adjust the sewing speed, automatic chain-off thread cutting length, color temperature of the LED lights, and more that are usually controlled by the foot control. These operation buttons allow you to toggle through all of the settings of your machine, plus you can see the changes on the LCD screen.
