I’m retired and pretty new to sewing but have become totally obsessed!! I loved the machine I already had but the throat was SO small that I couldn’t machine stitch hardly any size!! The Baby Lock Allegro has 12” of fabric workspace and it’s amazing!!! I love the thread cutter button that’s in addition to the standard buttons. I LOVE this machine!! It’s making sewing so much fun!!!
Absolutely love the needle up, easy pivot and no problem with zigzag stitching around Winnie the pooh squares. My old machine tried to eat this baby quilt but Allegro made it a breeze. On to the next 5 quilts that I now will get to finish. Would recommend this machine to all of my quilt guild friends 🧡

I ordered my Allegro after visiting the store in Dickson and seeing it in person. Ended up ordering online and received it very fast! The service was amazing and the store is beautiful! Highly reccomend a visit if you can - eye candy! The machine itself is great. I have used it for quilting. It is very fast and the long throat space is a game changer. Couple observations ti Baby Lock for improvements: the storage compartments are very hard to open, I with I did not have to remove the tray to lower the dog feet, the needle threader feels flimsy but works, the threat cutter works 8 out of 10 times. Being able to load bobbins on the side would help a lot when using the machine on a quilter frame, other than that, I have enjoyed the speed and convenience of the machine. Keep in mind that this machine DOES NOT have stitch regulator for neither quilting frame or pushing fabric, so you need to purchase separately if you want to use it for quilting.
This machine is the bees knees. It really made making this quilt out of baby clothes much easter than my Presto 2 that I was told was a quilting machine. I can't wait to use it with the Cutie Breeze Frame. I absolutely love it. ❤️

I love my new Baby lock Allegro sewing machine. I can't wait to see what all it can do. As I was sewing the first time my thoughts were "Man I should have done this years ago" I runs so smooth and I tried a few of the new stiches. WOW!!! All the things I want to sew now. You see, I just retired my 40-year-old Baby lock Companion 1500 that has served me very well over the years. Thank you Baby lock

I had a great experience with the seller. The machine came as scheduled and was as the seller described. I have enjoyed using it. The only issue I have with it, the automatic thread cutter does not work consistently. Also the automatic threader worked a few days but today it would not thread the needle.
STOP! Do not buy this machine, and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. I bought a brand new Allegro, and right out of the box, it didn't work. Spoke to their tech, and he said it would need to be sent in for repair, because even with the tension as high as possible, I was still getting huge loops on the bottom. I told them I wanted to return it and get something more reliable, and they said I have to pay a 10% restocking fee and return shipping. So, just because I bought it here, I'm out $200 because they sent me a machine that DOESN'T WORK. I tried speaking to customer service again, but she just kept saying "It's not that the machine doesn't work, it just needs to be repaired." Why would it need to be repaired then?! Most companies would make it right if they send a bad product. This one charged me hundreds of dollars for their lousy product.

She is my new girlfriend! The sewing machine is smooth, sleek, and quiet. So far, I’ve been working on craft projects to get used to it right out of the box. I can’t wait to turn my ideas into actual projects and explore the potential this machine offers.
So far it's a fabulous machine! Thread clippers!! Built-in! Ohmygosh. I had to hack the seger threads i use. I almost solely use my cone threads but it wasn't working too so I threaded it with the top up & that's working. Sews easy. I haven't used it much yet so I can't say much more. The control panel is nice and it came with a good number of feet, as my bernina did also. So I have 1 brother machine, 2 babylocks and 2 bernina.
I love the allegro and all its accessories. My quarter inch seam is perfect now. I love how fast it is and how well my projects come out.
I love this machine!!! Finished 4 quilt tops in 5 days and the quilting was done on king size plus quilts 118 wide by 118 length took two days but this baby rocks. Two rat nest while doing the quilting, but just snipped the nest close to backing and rolled the ever care over three or 4 x to collect the loose thread , rethreated, did a test run and back to quilting. Aside from the occasional rat nest on the backing I would recommend this machine. My only issue has been receiving my extension table, which still isn't here after ordering the machine in May of 2024. Although customer service is nice, I would really like my table.😍

It’s a beautiful machine! Sewed a small project today and hope to work on quilts very soon. I love all the features and how fast it sews or slows down in reverse. Still new at it but really like it!
I love the Allegro everything works and very easy to use. I have it on a dream fabric quilt frame just have to use foot pedal to free motion quilt.
It�s not working and never used it. It�s at a local dealer and had to be sent back to factory under warranty so not very happy. Won�t by another expensive item on line again.

Love my Allegro but it keeps skipping stitches when using zigzag! Thread cutter doesn’t always cut threads completely. Luv the throat space for quilting.
Machine overall is great. But can’t give it 5 stars as the thread cutter continuously gets jammed.
I love my new Allegro. The shipment was fast! Only a couple of days!! I'm use to my Brother sewing machine, when I took the Allegro out of the box I was excited and I was WOW!!! This is huge! Beautiful! It took me a minute, but I am getting the hang of it. Now I can pass my Brother sewing machine to my 9 yr old granddaughter and teach how to sew.
I’ve only had it about a week so I’m still learning how to use everything, but so far I’ve been very happy with it. I especially love the ability to position the needle up or down and the thread cutter. I’m not real impressed with the needle threader. It takes me several tries to get it to go down to the right position and it feels like it won’t last long before it breaks. But the machine sews very well so I can live without the needle threader.
I love the new machine. Threading is a little challenging but everything else is going great, even calling customer service was a pleasant experience!
I love the extra space to work and the cutting button! I thought it would be a little faster. But it works great.
Had it for a little over a week and love it!!!
I am having trouble with lower thread bunches up and my material gets stuck. I have rethreaded and rewound bobbins. It works for a bit then gets stuck again. I ripped one of my squares on my quilt. I used a walking foot and it still got stuck. I also cannot get the threader to thread my needle. It worked one time. I have the manual handy and following instructions but still having no luck.
I have been using my new machine for about 3 days now. I really enjoy how smooth it works and all the great features. Still have so much more to learn about it which as I go I will.
Ordered in April, and straight out of the box the machine has had issues. Contacted Babylock and I can take it to an authorized Babylock dealer (an hour away) to have it repaired under warranty. HIGHLY ADVISE NOT PURCHASING THIS MACHINE. I wish I would have done more extensive research and listened to the previous reviews warning against this machine.

I wanted a machine with a wider throat and this fit the bill for quilting. Initially, there were some malfunctions with the machine and I contacted the company, packed it up, sent it back and it was fixed without question. Outstanding customer service. I love the machine and would purchase it again.
