Not level and don't fit sewing machine
The work surface is much larger than the little table I was using. The sewing machine recesses in the work surface and is adjustable. the 40" work area is great. The long dress I was working on didn't drag the floor any more. It was easy to set up. the hardest part was getting the box in the house and taking the table out. The setup was easy!
This is my sweet Ester. She was born in 1940 and is my second Featherweight acquisition. I needed a table for her and found this Gidget I for a great price on the Sewing Parts Online website. We just set the table up today and she fits perfectly. It is almost identical to the Arrow Featherweight table (which I bought for my '56 Featherweight) except for the color and rollers. The Gidget was very well packaged and arrived in good time. I could not be happier. Highly recommend.

I got the Gidget 1 table to use with my Pfaff 7570 in one of my small sewing places upstairs and it fits beautifully in the small room. Can't wait to receive the insert.
I will be able to have my three sewing machines set up. I can work on three projects at a time. When I am not using this machine, I can fold the table up and put it under my bed. This going to work out very well.
The table itself, even without the custom insert (which you really do want to purchase), is a functional and attractive addition to my sewing space. I do use an anti-vibration mat under the machine because vibration is an issue without the mat. And I did find it challenging to understand the instructions for adjusting the dropdown area that came in the box. However, Arrow pointed me to a video that explains it well. It would be excellent if SewingPartsOnline would link to that specific video in the product description.
It's a little bit shorter in height than expected so I had to add some risers to make it even with my folding tables that are next to it. I was using an antique sewing table that I modified to fit my machine and the base being made of iron made the stand stable with absolutely no shake or movement when sewing. Not this table though. It shakes and shimmies somewhat but not so much that it is bothersome. I was worried this would be an issue but for the price it's great.
I had been using a computer desk for my sewing machine for the past few years and I knew I was ruining my wrists/arms from having them up too high so I started searching for a new table and found the Gidget I. It's PERFECT! It's not too big, so I don't end up leaving a bunch of stuff cluttered around my machine, and I love the ability to lift and lower my machine depending on my project. It's crazy how much I can tell my arms feel better by having my machine at the correct height. Love this product and it's a very reasonable price.
The table that I ordered is well built, and it fits into my space perfectly. I enjoy it greatly. I would say it is the best table for me. I priced different ones from a quilt shop from $600.00 to $750.00 and the one from your business to the best. Also I checked with Amazon but overall your table was the tops.
It's lovely and will be great as my kid further develops her sewing skills (me, too!), but it was rather challenging out of the box. In the first place, it takes a lot of force to get the legs popped into the grooves that hold them in place. In theory, you probably don't have to get them all the way in (mine just sat part way in for the past week), but eventually that probably isn't good for overall stability. It took WD40 and my husband stepping way more pressure than you'd think you'd need on them--we were really afraid of breaking the thing. Beyond that, we don't have heavy machines--a new very basic Brother good for beginners and a slightly heavier (but also very simple) 30 year-old Shark--and yet we had to adjust the chain itself. The wingnut that sits on the bolt that helps position the lift when the machine is on it--it's not meant to tighten, so the bolt just sits at an angle when the machine is on the lift and this is how the lift height is adjusted. The problem with light machines like ours is that the lift is ultimately too low every which way you can adjust that wingnut/bolt unless you shorten the chain. Not a ton of work, but still more than expected and quite a bit of trial and error--it wasn't a "pop it out of the box and stand it up and go" kind of thing like others here experienced. The directions are just okay--whether the written instructions or the videos, they would leave you thinking that if you have a light and basic/standard recreational machine you should be okay and not have to move the chain. Hats off, though, to customer service, who were super helpful (and quick!) when I emailed.
I am a hobby quilter and I was looking to expend the flat space around my sewing machine without breaking the bank .. and this one is just perfect. very easy to set up. Highly recommand.

I bought one of these tables a few years back for one of my machines.......since I have personally built a few wood cabinets and etc. in my day I deem this table to be VERY sturdy all around. My granddaughter was encouraged to learn to sew so I had an extra machine to give her and she has a small house so I knew this table would be just the answer. It was. She doesn't live close to me so no pics. But I encouraged her to look at the videos on your website and recommended she check out your site from time to time. Quality and service: OUTSTANDING!!

The box came totally intact. When I opened the box it took me about 2 minutes to assemble it because it's already assembled. All I had to do was secure the legs in place. It took us a little bit of brain power to figure out how to adjust the part where the sewing machine goes, but that's because we're a little dense. The video really helped. I really advise that you shop with this supplier. I plan to order a sewing light from them when I figure out which one I want.

On the whole pleased with the purchase. Attractive and lightweight so easy to move around. Had difficulty shortening the chain, not so easy but with the right tools it was accomplished.
Like the table it is a good portable size. The only weakness to it is the chain that holds the machine table up (or down) is very flimsy. There are bars too to hold it in the down position and they are strong, but if you want the table raised, a chain controls that. I have a heavy Bernina and don't expect that chain to last long. Otherwise, a good sturdy table.
I am giving this 4 stars because I really wish the actual TABLETOP were a little larger! It's a game changer to have the machine flush with a table, and I'm very glad I bought this! I'd love for it to be a couple inches taller, too. I've had to put mine up on blocks to better fit my needs. Last thing - I really did want the insert/collar, but it was the same price as the table and I couldn't get behind that. Also, I swap out machines according to project, so a custom-fit would have been a hassle. I'd love to see something at a lower price that is adjustable. (I have a very sophisticated cardboard system right now.) If you are considering this table, it is worth a try! Easy to assemble and shipping was super fast!

The table is well-made and was easy and straightforward to assemble. My only disappointment is that it’s so low my chair won’t lower enough to be comfortable and I feel as if I’m almost sitting on the floor. I will need to place some sort of lift under the legs to make it more comfortable to use since the legs don’t adjust.
My table is just the right height for me , usually I’m sewing on the kitchen table which is too high and tiring on my arms. having my machine flush with the table is great, much smoother seams!
