Pivot Function

When sewing circles or corners, changing directions smoothly is a must. When the pivot function is being used, the machine will stop with the needle lowered (in the fabric), and the presser foot is automatically raised to an appropriate height. Foot height can be modified in the settings. This function is useful for stopping the machine to rotate the fabric.

VARIABLE ZIG ZAG

Variable zigzag enables precision control over the stitch width via the knee lift! Begin with a straight stitch, then while the machine is still running, press against the knee lifter to widen your stitch to a 9mm zigzag. Release pressure to gradually return to a straight stitch for a tapered finish. Don't want a 9mm stitch? You can easily control the maximum width of the stitch setting in the machine's set mode. This advanced control opens up amazing new possibilities for creative expression with free motion quilting, thread painting, raw edge appliqué, free motion monogramming, and more.

RULER QUILTING

25-Year Limited Warranty

Janome America, Inc. will ensure your machine's performance for 25 years from when the machine is purchased. Coverage is limited to repair or necessary replacement of parts caused by defects in quality and materials. Faults in electrical components will be for five years.
