I wish I did not order from an open box. It seems not only it had missing parts and power cable, the needle was off center. I believe that the prior owner jammed the needle and made the needle bar off center and returned the machine. It was not checked before resale. Am still waiting for a power cord. For two hundred dollars more I could have bought a new working machine. Lesson learned.
I'm in love with this sewing machine! Granted I'd been sewing on a Singer Curvey, so this was a big upgrade. It's got great features, and offers a smooth and fairly quiet sewing experience. It's got me sewing a lot more, and inspired me to really get my sewing space organized. Be sure to use the proper thread and needle and change your needle after your projects. I had 1 issue with the automatic thread cutter not cutting the bobbin thread and uneven stitches when I didn't wind the bobbin correctly. I rewound the bobbin and changed my needle and everything was back to normal. Sure, I'll be paying this machine off for the next year but it's so worth it.

I didn’t think the added features would be such a pleasure but it proved me wrong. I love my new machine. I used it to make a quilt and it sews beautifully. The only thing that was disappointing was the script letting. It comes out far apart and there does not seem to be a way to make the letters tighter together. Otherwise everything else is great about the machine. It was a good price compared to other more expensive machines and had most of the same features.
I downsized Bernina combination sewing/embroidery machine because I do my embroidery on a 15 needle commercial machine now and needed more space in my sewing area. I bought the Exceed hzl-j700 and love it!!! It’s big enough to do larger projects or piecing, but has the decorative stitches I like to have on board. It’s sooooooo quiet!!! Stitches are gorgeous and perfectly formed. The price is much more within what I am comfortable paying. Other brands have priced themselves out of my comfort zone. I have had a Juki 2010 for several years as well and I love love love it too.

I've been sewing on a used machine i bought abt 8 years ago, it was time to treat myself. Still I couldn't see spending 2k or more on my dream machine. This juki gave me all the bells and 2/3 of the whistles I was searching for at a reasonable price. Love it so far!
This machine replaced my wonderful Bernina Artista 170. BTW the Bernina was over 25 years old with no mechanical issues. I didn't want to replace it, but the computer screen finally froze and a replacement (if I could find one) would have cost me over $500 just for the part. So I have been looking for a machine and this one had all the bells and whistles I love. And it has not disappointed me so far.
It sews well but it makes a sorta grindy sound. I don’t like that. I LOVE the acrylic extended table I got!!!

Love this machine. Quiet, powerful, even stitches. It has everything that I need. I smile every time I sit down to sew. I have only had it about a week but I bet I have put about 1000 miles on it already.

This machine.. I call her Gemma because she is a GEM… is a work horse but with perfect percision. It is a pleasure sewing with her.. she is an extension of my hands! I absolutely love it.
Love the sewing machine. The shipping and customer service lack allot. I paid for next day delivery for all items and the sewing machine was the only item shipped next day. I talked to customer service and told them the problem with next day shipping. She said she'd talk to the warehouse and see. She told me she'd call me back and a week later still haven't heard from her. Still haven't gotten the rest of my order next day . That was a joke. They are not what I expected and not sure if I'd ever do business with them again. I spent over$1,000 with them but that didn't matter. Chelsey from She Sews Seams said they had really quick delivery time. I didn't get that . No apology morning from them.
I have only used the straight stitch since receiving this machine, but have thoroughly enjoyed the features like thread cutting, knee lift and the self-threader. I am looking forward to experimenting with the various decorative stitches, and buttonhole features in my future sewing projects.

I like the machine but two issues. I wish I had known that there was an F600 as that one has more lights I need to add a table lamp Also, the needle threader fell off the first day. After reviewing numerous you tube videos, I finally found one that showed how to put it on, would have been helpful for you to make a video to show how to install it
