Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 26 reviews.
The Kola cutting table is made very well and I love the space and storage.
However, it was unfortunate that when I placed my order for both the table and the cutting mat which fits this table, I was not told of a back order on the table but the cutting mat arrived shortly after placing my order. I ordered the end of December 2025 was charged in full in December but only just received the cutting table March 19, 2026.
I understand supply chain issues but Sewing Parts continued to advertise this table without a note of a delay or back order situation well into January.
The table itself is beautiful so my complaint was the fact that I received the cutting mat charged in full and had to store the mat on the floor for 2 1/2 months.
I am so in love with this table!! This picture does not do it full justice as it's not fully extended. But what a difference it makes in my sewing studio!! I love all the extra storage and how sturdy it is! The delivery guys were kind enough to bring it down to the basement and take it off the pallet. The setup was relatively easy for me and my spouse. The only pitfall was that I didn't buy it sooner. What a game changer!!
I love my cutting table. It allows me to spread out my work and saves my back! Folds down nicely to make space in room. My floor is carpeted, so the wheels drag a little, and because it’s built to be sturdy, it is heavy. Love the storage space. Such a great addition to my sewing room.
Well packaged. Easy to assemble. Well made. Love the size versatility available because of the drop leaves. Nice storage in the drawers and on the shelves.
I am happy with the cabinet or rather I will be happy after I am a le to hire someone to assemble.
For your future reference the cabinet might be called partially assembled. The sides that lift up to form table surface and the supports that swing out to support the two tops are not assembled onto the cabinet. I paid the JB Hunt drivers $100 to uncrate it. I am attempting to hire the completion of assembly at rate of $20/hr. Estimated 2 or 3 hours each for two men. It is heavy, lifting a portion of the table top to connect the hinges is a job for two people. Other sellers listing additional charges for complete assembly are a bargain unless you happen to have two able bodied helpers.
Like all Koala furniture it is made very well. We ordered this back in early December and then learned it was on back order until March. We waited through the backorder as we wanted it to match our other Koala pieces in the sewing room. We were disappointed that the English white ash is not the same white as our other two pieces. Had we known that it was not a match we probably would have ordered a cut table from a different manufacturer. That being said, it is very well made and other than the color we are happy with it.
The Koala Cutting table is beautiful. It's very well made, has rounded corners, very sturdy and rolls on the floor very smoothly. Directions were easy to follow. Love all the storage.
Delivery was great. It was delivered by 2 men from JB Hunt who took it right to my basement It was easy assembly needing only the wheels attached and drawer pulls and shelf pins. The hardest part was sitting it upright which definitely takes 2 people. Seems to be excellent quality & is much sturdier than my old cutting table!
Besides being beautiful, it is very comfortable to work on especially since it has so much storage. My 60 inch mst fits perfectly. It came assembled except for the wheels. They are not easy to install. I’m very glad I purchased it.
It said it was completely put together. BUT it needed wheels put on, and it so heavy, it almost didn't happen. It sat on its side in the middle of the floor for 3 days until we could figure put how to get it upright without braking off the wheels. You know how heavy that thing is!!!!
Although it took quite awhile to receive my cutting table , I love it! It is very well made, heavy but easy to push around as it’s on rollers. The extra storage space is really useful, especially the plastic bins! It’s a great size for cutting, but since it can be folded down, that helps to reduce its footprint when not needed. I also ordered the Koala cutting mat. I’m thinking about cutting it where the table collapses, so I could have a smaller area when needed. I just haven’t quite figured out how to do that.Love this table!
It came assembled, which is great in itself. It’s the perfect height and I have so much real estate with which to work. It’s fabulous to be able to cut larger pieces of fabric with ease. The storage is amazing. Highly recommend!
This is a beautiful, sturdy sewing table. It fits my machine and leaves plenty of room for measuring and cutting.
The ad was unclear because it noted that the table came already assembled. No way, I had to hire men to put it together. Thankfully, it is beautiful.
Love the table, quality is great, it was packed very well. Only disappointment was the shipping. No where on the website did it say it would be shipped to a 3rd party. I had the shipping tracking number and when I was notified of the arrival, I went outside to get it only to find out they t was shipped to a 3rd party and would have to schedule delivery from them. It took another several weeks to get it. This was a Christmas present and was not there on time. Very disappointed
It’s a beautiful piece, but we had to remove the railing on our stairs and take parts off in order to get it to the second floor. It took two men and a lot of tools to get it into my sewing room.
I love my new cutting table. It came all put together and delivery was perfect. The storage area is much more than I expected. The height is also perfect. It is very sturdy, and the castor wheels are amazing since it is heavy.
It also matches my sewing table and storage that my husband bought for me 6 years ago. I couldn't believe it when I saw it on your website, and I knew I had to have it.
It is a very heavy table. But it is sturdy and it rolls really well. I love that both sides have drawers in them so you can put more things in and get things off the floor and table. It has been an amazing addition to the sewing room at the ballet studio.
