I absolutely love this stuff. In all honesty, it's just so easy to use and it does exactly what it says it does. To use Transfer Artist Paper, simply print (with an ink jet printer) or draw an image on the white side of the paper. Place the paper, image side down, on a heat resistant, flat surface - like fabric, metal, wood, glass, or polymer clay. Apply heat (with an iron or heat press) for 10 - 20 seconds. Make sure not to use any steam, just heat. When you can tell that the paper will peel back easily, remove the paper and allow the image to cool. I recommend using tweezers, as the surface will be hot.
If your fabric is delicate, keep the iron moving for the whole 10 - 20 seconds.
When applying an image with words, make sure to flip the letters in an editing program before printing. If you are writing the words by hand, write them on the purple side of the paper first. Using a light source, trace the letters to the white side of the paper. That way, you have a hand written phase written backwards.
Before applying the image to metal or glass, remove any dirt or oil which may impair the bonding.
