You can sew a "Trust in You" Psalm 9:10 Quilt Panel with our free step-by-step tutorial!

By using one "Trust in You" Psalm 9:10 Fabric Panel, you can sew an uplifting prayer quilt or cheerful Christian wall hanging in 1 hour. To make the exact quilt featured in this tutorial (approximately 36" by 54"), you will also need 1/3 yard of white and 1/3 yd of aqua "Trust in You" Psalm 9:10 Fabric, 2 yards of Orange Fabric, batting, and cotton thread. Use the Orange Fabric to create your quilt binding.

Supplies: In addition to your standard sewing supplies, you will need 1 "Trust in You" Psalm 9:10 Fabric Panel, 1 or 2 contrasting border prints (1/3 yard of white and 1/3 yd of aqua ) "Trust in You" Psalm 9:10 Fabric, 2 yards of Orange Fabric, batting, and cotton thread.

Step 1: Cut out the panel and sew 5” border strips to all sides using a 1/4” seam allowance. To help you visualize how the two "Trust in You" companion prints pair with the panel, we used both in our quilt. We used "Trust in You", Psalm Fabric, Aqua to border the top and bottom of our panel. We used "Trust in You", Psalm Fabric, White to border the sides of our panel.

Step 2: Sew 4” orange border strips to all sides using a 1/4” seam allowance.

Step 3: Create your quilt sandwich by layering your quilt top, batting, and backing. Quilt by hand or by machine.

Step 4: Trim any remaining excess fabric. Add binding along all raw edges using a 1/4” seam.
