Adjustable Cutting Width
Do you want a bold statement hem or a dainty narrow hem? With the 8002D, your edges can be finished at any width between 3.0 to 5.0 mm from the right needle position, depending upon your sewing needs or the fabric being used.
ADJUSTABLE DIFFERENTIAL FEED & Stitch Length
Even with stretchy fabrics like knits and georgettes, you can easily create professional-level finishes by adjusting the differential feed. This feature allows you to fine-tune how the material is fed through your machine and helps to prevent puckering or distorting. It works by making the front and rear feed dogs move at different speeds. Set the dial to 1.0 for regular sewing, lower numbers for fine fabrics, and higher numbers for stretchy fabrics.
Adjustable Foot Pressure
Not all fabric is serged with the same foot pressure, and with the ability to serge up to 1300 stitches per minute the adjustable foot pressure is a game changer. With the 8002D, pressure can be easily adjusted for smoother feeding.
