Arrow designed their Kangaroo line of specialty furniture to support a broad range of crafting projects with versatile, practical, complementary features. The Kiwi Multi-Use Cabinet is no exception. Kiwi has storage and workspace while also functioning as a cutting surface and pressing table. Arrow Cabinets are space-conscious, leaving a small footprint in your sewing room while not in use. Kiwi perfectly complements Kangaroo's Wallaby, Aussie, and Kangaroo & Joey Cabinets.
Color Options
Arrow offers three different finishes for the Kiwi cabinet: Ash White, Gray, and Teak. A wide variety of Arrow furniture has these colors as options, so it'll be easier to find compatible pieces in the future. Kiwi has a melamine laminate finish, meaning it's durable, scratch-resistant, and waterproof.
Quilt Leaf and Drawers
The Kiwi is convertible, providing a 17 ⅛ x 21 ¼ quilt leaf for you to work on cutting and pressing fabric, tracing out small patterns, and sewing with a small machine. Features a built-in removable ironing board and comes with a 17 ⅜″ x 11 ⅜″ cutting mat. This cabinet also has two small drawers and a large drawer to stow away your tools and notions.
The Perfect Iron for Kiwi (Optional)
Protect your investment with an Oliso Pro Plus SmartIron, the only iron designed to protect your pressing mat and fabric from burning when it falls over. Pro Plus can detect when you're touching the handle. If you remove your hand while the iron is down, patented scorch guards raise it, preventing the hotplate from making contact with whatever is below it. Oliso's irons are non-stick, easy to clean, and resistant to calcium buildup.
Arrow Companies, LLC. (Arrow) provides limited warranty coverage to the original purchaser of this product against defects in materials or workmanship of Arrow furniture components for a period of ten years from the date of purchase. I love the versatility of the cabinet. I am more productive having my cabinet right behind my sewing table. Not having to get up & go iron or cut at a different location has really helped my back.
Love, Love, Love my new Kangaroo & Joey cabinet with the side Kiwi cabinet. I ordered the unit on line without any problem. The cabinet and Kiwi arrived quickly and in 7 boxes. I read comments and reviews about how long it took to put the cabinet together. The cabinet is well made and very heavy. It took my husband and me about 8 hours to assemble over 2 days. We watched the video on installing the double side rail electric lift. No problems at all. The holes were drilled perfectly and all screws were in individual packets. Great quality!
This little table is the perfect home for my serger, as it fits right into the corner by my sewing machine AND gives me extra storage space AND hosts my little project iron. Altogether, this addition to my sewing space is the best improvement I’ve made in over 50 years of sewing!
This was easy to put together.
This is the second piece I have purchased and put together from Kangaroo cabinets. It is well made and a has a good amount of storage for its size. I really like the ironing surface that comes with it!
In my 70’s and put most of the Kangaroo, Kiwi and Joey cabinets together myself. Chose the teak finish and like it very much.. Very clear instructions except for hydraulic life but video I watched made it easy as well. One piece damaged in shipping but customer service from Sewing Parts Online was quick and responsive in every way!

I really like the Kiwi cabinet. So convenient to be able to iron or cut fabric quickly while piecing a quilt.
I love it! Purchased it as a companion to my Wallaby cabinet. It’s great for the small space I have my sewing center! I also love that it has an extension where I can iron, use the cutting mat (although I prefer my Olfa mat that’s the same size), or use it for extra work space.
Best put together unit I have ever experienced. Quality parts. Laminate wood heavy and great quality. After putting together I decided the price was fair. Exactly what I was looking for.

I wasn’t sure I wanted this little cupboard, when ordering my Assie II sewing table. I love it!! It gives me just enough room for my valuable sewing equipment. The little ironing table on top is absolutely my favorite!! I waited way to long to order both the Assie II and the kiwi. They have made me a very happy, energetic quilter again. The Kangaroo Kiwi was a great addition to my sewing room. It arrived within a week of my order and was packaged well to prevent damage. I use it to hold my laptop next to my embroidery machine and to hold many of my incidentals in the drawers. It was easy to put together and is heavy duty-not wimpy.
